Sky Ridge Medical Center

The primary hospital for the residency program is Sky Ridge Medical Center in suburban Lone Tree, CO. This 284 bed hospital opened in 2003 and has maintained its reputation for excellence since day one. The hospital has nearly exclusive individual suite patient rooms. The hospital consistently receives ‘A’ grades from The Leapfrog Group and CMS 5 star ratings. The facility has been named the top hospital in Colorado along with the people’s choice award for best hospital since 2011. Sky Ridge strives to be the forefront of technology, with the latest imaging modalities. The residents find this hospital to be extremely welcoming and comfortable. The majority of time during residency is spent here. 

The Medical Center of Aurora 

Located in one of the largest suburbs of Denver, TMCA is a 346 bed facility that offers more traditional community medicine. This level II trauma center also carries a Primary Stroke Certification and Chest Pain Center accreditation. TMCA was ranked the #4 hospital in Colorado by U.S. News & World Report and consistently receives ‘A’ grades from The Leapfrog Group. Residents will rotate through TMCA multiple times a year throughout their residency to ensure diverse patient population encounters.
