Ethan Baham, DO

PGY 3

My name is Ethan Baham, and before moving to Colorado my family and I spent the last 4 years living in Iowa where I attended medical school at Des Moines University. I am originally a Utah native, so it has been nice to make it back to the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, even though we are now on the other side. It’s great to be in a place where the people enjoy and appreciate the wilderness as much as I do. Outside of medicine I am the father of three young kiddos that include two wild boys and a little sister. As you can imagine, they keep my wife and I well-occupied. When I do find spare time, I prefer to fill it with board games, frisbee, backpacking, or singing with a rock band. As a physician, I’m excited to serve and work in beautiful Colorado! I believe primary care is an integral part of the healthcare community, and I am proud to be involved in the field of Family Medicine.

Amanda Vester, DO

PGY 2

My name is Amanda Vester and I am originally from the small town of Webb City, Missouri. I received an undergraduate degree in Athletic Training from Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. I decided to take some time off before medical school and first traveled to Uganda for three months. I spent time working in the physical therapy department at a regional hospital and volunteered at an orphanage. I also spent a year as an Athletic Trainer for a high school near my hometown. I then moved to South Carolina for medical school and graduated from Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM). Throughout my training, I fell in love with Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine (OMM), primary care, and global outreach. I love the idea of using your hands to diagnose and treat disease using OMM and the amazing relationships built in primary care. I was also provided the unique opportunity through VCOM to work in Tegucigalpa, Honduras for a total of 5 weeks which was an amazing and rewarding experience. Personally, I love to travel, ride bicycles, cook, and spend time with my husband, William and ten-pound Jack Russel/chihuahua mix, Reggie. I feel beyond blessed to be a resident at Sky Ridge Medical Center and get the opportunity to live in beautiful Colorado.
