Volunteering at Sky Ridge Medical Center
A cheery smile, a kind word and a caring touch is what our incredible Sky Ridge volunteers offer our patients and their families on a daily basis. Their warmth and commitment helps set Sky Ridge apart from other hospitals. Our volunteers are from varied backgrounds and experience, but they have one thing in common—a desire to do something meaningful. They give their time and talent to make a difference with our patients, families, physicians and staff.
Cancer Resource Center
Sky Ridge is proud to provide the only Cancer Resource Center is the Denver Metro area! Along with the Sky Ridge Oncology team, we partner with the American Cancer Society for support services and transportation needs. In addition, we are thrilled to announce our newest partner, EBeauty. The primary goal of EBeauty is to provide all women, regardless of economic status, access to free wigs. With this new partnership, our Resource Center will be the only location offering such a service in the Denver market!
We are currently recruiting for volunteers who either are a cancer survivor or have been a caregiver for a cancer patient in the past. The hours of the Center are weekdays, from 10:00am - 2:00pm.

Benefits of Volunteering
According to many of our volunteers, the greatest benefit of volunteering is the genuine sense of satisfaction they receive from helping others. Sky Ridge volunteers also appreciate the opportunity to learn new skills and make friends. Whether our volunteers are assisting patients and their families or working with the staff, they enjoy being a part of the Sky Ridge family.
